How To-Tip Of The Month

There’s one thing most of us have in common, that is, we spend a great deal of time using e-mail. Setting up rules in outlook or outlook express can help to keep your e-mail more manageable. How to create a rule in Outlook In Outlook

Go to Tools > Rules and Alerts.

Click the New Rule button, then answer a few questions to help the Rules Wizard create the rule you want. Select one or more New Mail Rule conditions (e.g. Where the Subject line contains a specific word), select an action (e.g. Move it to aspecific folder).

Click Finish.

In Outlook Express

Click tools> Message Rules> Mail.

Select one or more New Mail conditions (e.g Where the subject line contains a specific word), select an action (e.g. Move it to a specific folder)

Click Finish.
